Am I ready to be a parent?

This is a tough question, as no one ever feels fully ready to be a parent. No matter your situation, the decision to parent comes with many unknowns. This is normal, and many people find clarity after learning more about this option—gaining the resources and knowledge they need to feel prepared and confident.

It’s important to ask yourself some questions before deciding on this option. Ask yourself the hard questions, like…

  • Will my parents and partner support me?
  • How will my job/education change with parenting?
  • Will I be able to support my child financially?
  • Are there resources to help me raise a child?

You can get all your questions answered by our knowledgeable staff today at Ventura County Pregnancy Center. Our compassionate team can share all your options and give you the information you need to make an informed decision.

Confirm Your Pregnancy

Before deciding on your pregnancy option, confirm your pregnancy with a lab-quality pregnancy test. We also offer a no-cost referral for an onsite ultrasound. These are both vital in understanding what options you’re eligible for, confirming how far along you are, and whether your pregnancy is viable (healthy and has a heartbeat).

We offer no-cost pregnancy services at our center so that you can be sure.

Where Do I Begin?
